For ladies I usually recommend you start with a 15 pound Kettlebell, or if you feel really strong and fit you can even start with a 20 pounder:) 
I do have a Kettlebell workout DVD set. You can find it at:

I created it specially for beginners but I teach all the fundamental as well as some of the 
more advanced exercises so you have enough to keep you challenged for a long time!
